Backstreet's Back: Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter & AJ McLean To Star In A Zombie Movie With NSYNC's Joey Fatone

Backstreet Boys members Nick Carter and AJ McLean will be doing a movie together with NSYNC's Joey Fatone. According to ET Online, the film will be about zombies and will be written and directed by Nick himself.

Lauren Kitt, Nick's wife, will also star in the movie called "Dead 7." It will reportedly be shown in SyFy channel.

"Dead 7" follows a "ragtag band of gunslingers who must rid a small town of a zombie plague in a post-apocalyptic West." The report added that the film is produced by The Asylum, the producer of "Sharknado."

Nick, meanwhile, is also said to be eyeing one more boyband member for the zombie movie. On Twitter, Carter apparently asked One Direction member Niall Horan to play as his brother in the movie.

"Ok @NiallOfficial I know we're from different generations but...would you like to play my brother in this zombie movie with me? #Dead7," Nick tweeted on Saturday. As of writing, there are no reports yet if Horan will join the movie.

Backstreet Boys is a popular boyband during the 1990s. The group consists of AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, and Brian Littrell.

The group rose to fame with their self-titled debut international album "Backstreet Boys" in 1996. It was followed by their second international album "Backstreet's Back" the following year. The group achieved superstardom when they released their third studio album "Millennium" in 1999, which was then followed up by "Black & Blue" in 2000. Their popularity has earned them a star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood.

NSYNC, on the other hand, is another boyband that was formed in Orlando, Florida in 1995. The group members include Fatone, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Lance Bass. According to Wikipedia, the group has sold over 50 million albums during their career, becoming the eighth-best selling boyband in history. They announced a "temporary hiatus" in 2002 but was never able to return after that until Bass confirmed that the group has broken up.
