Monday night's episode of "The Whispers" saw Sean and Wes battling each other, not so much so for their love for Claire. Additionally, the episode provided more details about Drill and his real mission.
The episode titled "Whatever It Takes" opened with a flashback that featured Sean minutes before he saw the mysterious blue rock and crashed his plane. The scene cuts to the present time where Sean tried to recall what his connection with the blue rock is. Unfortunately, he couldn't remember much.
At that time, Wes fired back at Sean and informed him that the mysterious rock could potentially destroy everyone. Meanwhile, Wes informed the rest of the team about what he already knows about Drill. According to him, Drill talks only to children and he or it could only be in one place at a time.
Towards the end of the episode, Sean's vision featured people disappearing on earth, but no explanation for this was given. Audiences were once again left to speculate on how Drill and Sean could be connected.
Meanwhile, Claire was left to choose between Sean and Wes, for the second time around. Later on, the mother of Henry decided to stick around with her family because she knew that Wes would do the same, according to TV Fanatic.
In other news, Lena also tried her best to protect her daughter Minx from Drill. Since her husband Wes has been preoccupied with her, she took it upon herself to try and talk to Drill. However, one major problem exists and that is Drill doesn't like talking to adults, so whether or not he will leave Minx alone is what audiences need to watch out for next week.
"The Whispers" Season 1 aired its seventh episode on Monday and received an increase in audience viewership and ratings, TV By the Numbers reported. As of late, it is still unclear whether the show will be renewed for another season.
