"How to Get Away With Murder" will uncover more truths and lies about the characters, more specifically Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) and Frank (Charlie Weber). Ahead of Season 2's premiere episode, there are some fan speculations suggesting that Frank may be in love with Annalise. This, according to them, is the reason why Frank has always been loyal to Annalise even though his life is always put at risk, according to Design N Trend.
In a previous interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Davis was informed about the rumors and the actress herself admitted that it could make up for a good storyline come Season 2.
"I love that idea, I never thought of that! That's very exciting. When you explore the kind of unusual relationship - like with Bonnie and Annalise - those create the best OMG moments, especially when you think that a relationship may be going in another direction," Davis told the publication.
As of late, it is still unclear whether or not the Frank-Annalise love team will come into play in Season 2. However, the actress noted that there's a possibility, considering the usual twists that series creator Shonda Rhimes think of.
"It's a whole other mystery that's exposed that adds another layer to the character. It's also something I have never seen on network TV. Those types of relationships can only take place in Shondaland, but I would love for that to be the case," she said.
Meanwhile, Davis also revealed that she doesn't know much about the upcoming second season of "How to Get Away With Murder."
"At this point, absolutely nothing. I have given suggestions just like the rape scene and the Cicely Tyson scenes. That's all me and character background that I filled in. But in terms of the plot, I don't know a lot," she said.
"How to Get Away With Murder" Season 2 will premiere on ABC on September 24.
