Jessica Simpson Net Worth: Singer Celebrates A Million-Dollar Birthday in St. Barths

It was definitely a birthday to remember for Jessica Simpson who reportedly spent over a million dollars for a 14-day vacation in St. Barths. The fashion entrepreneur and singer recently celebrated her 35th birthday by taking an extravagant adults-only vacation on the island resort, according to ET Online.

The lavish birthday celebration cost between $1.5 million and $2 million, the report said. The celebration consisted of three chartered airplanes, two rented yachts, dinners in various restaurants, several partying, lounging in a villa with butlers, and VIP treatments, among others.

According to the report, Jessica arrived in an all-white get-up together with her husband Eric Johnson, her mother Tina and some friends via a private airplane. According to US Magazine, Simpson chartered about 20 friends and family, including celeb pals Odette and Dave Annable, on July 6. Her mom Tina also brought along two of her best friends.

The report added that the group showed excitement upon exiting the plane when they arrived on the island and continued the party mood at St. Barths where they soaked up the sun and rode jet skis in the Caribbean sea when not yachting. "They rented a boat a few of the days so they could go snorkeling and cruising around the bay," a source, quoted by US Magazine, said.

On Jessica's actual birthday, July 10, her family and friends threw her a costume party by the pool. They partied all night long, according to the report.

The group stayed at the luxurious Le Sereno Villa and received full VIP treatment complete with butlers on hand, the ET online report said. Two large shuttle buses also drove them to and from dinner every night to various restaurants where they were reportedly always given the best table in the place.

Simpson and her group also rented two giant yachts to spend some time in St. Maarten. She threw a party on the boat and also went to a local bar there. The whole celebration was documented by a personal photographer that Simpson brought along, the report said.

Consistent with her extravagant style, Simpson and company left St. Barths with a chauffeured service to the airport, where three chartered airplanes were waiting for them. One of the airplanes was reportedly used for luggage, food and other miscellaneous items alone.

St. Barths, according to its website, is visited by wealthy Americans, celebrities, and yachtsmen, among others. It is therefore only fitting that Simpson, who has a net worth of $150 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth, celebrated her birthday there.
