'The Rosie Project' Cast, Plot, News: Jennifer Lawrence to Star in Upcoming RomCom

Jennifer Lawrence is really very busy these days as she is set to star as Rosie Jarman in another romantic dramedy film by Columbia Pictures, "The Rosie Project."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story is based on a debut novel by Australian Novelist Graeme Simsion entitled "The Rosie Project" that was published last January 2013.

The book is about Don Tillman, a socially bounded genetics professor who tries to scientifically formulate a perfect mate on a research called "The Wife Project," based from the qualities he liked, filtered through questionnaire/surveys. He then eventually meets Rosie Jarman played by Lawrence as the complete opposite of everything that he is trying to find.

Just from the sound of the storyline, the story is interesting and something to look forward to. In addition to Lawrence fans and the novel, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber known for "500 Days of Summer" wrote the script for this upcoming movie. While Matt Tolmach and Michael Costigan are producing.

"The Rosie Project" currently has no director in charge. Initially, according to Variety, "The Lego Movie" directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller were the ones considered to direct the movie project but then they were already set to direct the young Han Solo "Star Wars" movie.

Lawrence is currently set for pre-production for another sci-fi romance movie "Passengers" alongside "Jurassic Park" actor Chris Pratt.

Lawrence also worked again with "Silver Linings Playbook" and "American Hustle" Director David O' Russell in a film called "Joy." In this film, she works again with Bradley Cooper and De Niro. This film is set to be release on Christmas day 2015.

But before "Joy," fans already know about the fourth installment of "Hunger Games" which is "The Mockingjay: Part 2". It will be shown on cinemas this November 20, 2015.
