‘Kingdom Hearts 3’ Release Date & Gameplay: Trailer To Be Showcased At D23 Expo

"Kingdom Hearts 3" will be among the video games to be shown at Disney's D23 Expo 2015 this August. It will be showcased alongside other Disney Interactive's games "Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition" and "Star Wars: Battlefront 3″ from Electronics Arts, a report from Master Herald stated on Wednesday.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" Director Tetsuya Nomura has revealed that the game will offer more exciting contents compared to its previous version. Nomura reportedly leaked the gameplay details after the launch of the title's release date trailer.

"In addition to the Keyblade transformations for Sora, it becomes possible to maneuver using specific forms and actions. There will be many battle choices. Take whatever strategy, it will be up to the player. Of course, for those who button mash will have an exhilarating experience but for those who want technical fights will also find fun making combinations," said Nomura as quoted in KPopstarz' report.

Disney Interactive said that developers who will reportedly showcase games in Disney's D23 Expo 2015 will likely tease gamers with new trailers, special surprises and gameplay. "In the Hall D23 presentation on Sunday, August 16, fans won't want to miss never-before-seen gameplay, trailers, new reveals and surprises from Disney Interactive's most anticipated games. Among the games participating in the presentation are: 'Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition', ' Star Wars Battlefront' from Electronic Arts and 'Kingdom Hearts III' from Square Enix," the company said in its press release.

According to Gamespot, aside from the game titles that will be shown, Disney Interactive will also showcase additional "Star Wars" characters including the play sets new to "Disney Infinity 3.0" edition. The company will also give the audience limited-edition giveaways which are exclusive for Hall D23.

Ticket prices for D23 Expo is pegged at $74 for adult while non-members and children will be able to get discounts. Disney's D23 Expo will be held at California's Anaheim Convention Center on August 14 to 16.
