Siri shows just how updated she is on current trends especially on the historic transition of Caitlyn Jenner from Bruce Jenner. The popular digital assistant of Apple would correct you if you call the "I Am Cait star" Bruce, UsWeekly reports.
Web users posted screenshots of Siri's response to such a transaction; one user posted in Tumblr that when asking her device "What is Bruce Jenner's real name" the Apple developed software informs her: "The full name of Caitlyn Jenner is Caitlyn Jenner."
The report continues that if you ask Siri, "How tall is Bruce Jenner?" Siri will answer by correcting you, saying that the transgender celebrity "Caitlyn Jenner is 6'2 tall."
Siri is known to have little patience for those who do not understand basic math. Siri has also been reported to shame you if you ask what the answer is for zero divided by zero. Although Siri obviously is backing Jenner up and has algebra down to a tee, the digital assistant is not perfect as proven in a report from The Verge, when users asked Siri what Bruce Jenner's gender is, the software answered "female". When asked "how old is Bruce Jenner," Siri responded "Bruce Jenner is 65" along with Caitlyn's Wikipedia page, forgetting to correct that it's Caitlyn, not Bruce.
Siri's gender appropriation is just another step out of many that the former Olympic gold medalist has to take to complete her transition. She has been honored with the Arthur Ashe Courage Award last Wednesday, July 15 at the ESPYS in Los Angeles.
ABC News reported that Caitlyn Jenner, dressed in a white, long-sleeve gown, thanked her mother, her children and Diane Sawyer in her acceptance speech and called the past few months a "whirlwind." She also made an emotional plea for "accepting people for who they are."
