The latest trailer of "Batman V Superman" shows Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne (Batman) running towards his crumbling skyscraper in a fury of rage. This event finally confirmed Batman's much-discussed grudge against Superman.
While this hero from the planet Krypton was attempting to save the world in 2013's Man of Steel, this time, he inadvertently destroyed one of Wayne Industries' towers. That event killed a lot of people making Batman angry.
Cinema Blend reported that one of the unusual scenes from the latest "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer featured Batman not in his natural environment. Dressed in desert gear, he seems to have infiltrated some kind of hideout and fights soldiers wearing Superman shield patches. These are the same group of soldiers that were seen on their knees before Superman in the movie's first trailer.
There is a speculation on what might be going on here, but there was one thing that has been missed, viewers could notice that Batman may have killed someone.
As a 'superhero' trademark, Batman usually doesn't kill his enemies. Of course, he would beat, torture, subdue and leave them scarred physically and emotionally but he doesn't kill. This Desert Storm Batman seems that he snapped a soldier's neck but it is not clear whether he just paralyzed the guy or actually killed him.
Well, for the benefit of the doubt, Batman knows what could be the consequences if he really killed the guy. This would be a remarkable departure from the modern interpretation of the character, Cinema Blend added.
The Tim Burton Batman films made some changes to the rule. As for Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy, he placed a lot of emphasis of Bruce Wayne being unwilling to kill.
According to the report of Daily Mail, along with the trailer, the developments of Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor and Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman characters were also unveiled. And though little has been revealed about where Gadot's Wonder Woman stands in this whole narrative, she is seen taking a beating only to get back up and continue fighting.
The much awaited action-packed film "Batman v Superman: The Dawn of Justice" which stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Jesse Eisenberg, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams and Jeremy Irons, will hit the big screen on March 25, 2016.
