Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama: 'Cool for the Summer' Singer Ready To Say Yes To Boyfriend

Demi Lovato said that she is ready to be engaged to long-time boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama. In a report, ET Online, quoting a New Zealand radio station, said that Lovato confessed her deep love for Valderrama.

"I am very, very in love with him," said the "Cool For The Summer" singer. "I think -- we will probably wait a little bit longer, but -- if he asked me tomorrow I would say yes."

It looks that their relationship is getting stronger despite the hard times when they started dating. She revealed that even her parents were against her relationship with Valderrama because of their age gap. Demi is only 22 today while Wilmer is 35.

"People were definitely judgmental," Lovato said. "Even my parents were like, 'I don't know, why is someone his age wanting to date someone so young?' It was after a while everyone around us started to see that what we had was real and incredible and very special."

According to the singer, her boyfriend helped her succeed in her struggle against substance abuse and an eating disorder, Seventeen reports.

"There were some moments when it was off and on when I was struggling with my issues," she revealed. "What he would do is he wouldn't enable me so he'd say, 'I can't be around if you're not going to get your stuff together.'" Demi said, "It made me fight for it. He's a very, very good guy."

Demi and Wilmer first got together in 2010 and reunited after splitting in 2011, a separate report from ET Online said.

In March, Demi posted their photos on Instagram with the caption: "My love has grown to a level that words could never possibly express how much this man completes me," she wrote on Sunday, alongside a pic of the two kissing. " ... After sharing my ups, putting up with my downs and supporting my recovery... he still never takes credit and I want the world to know how incredible his soul is. I really wouldn't be alive today without him. I love you Wilmer."

In Wilmer's Instagram, he said: "It is now 3 years since you said: I am more important than any past, demon, disorder or addiction. Where you decided that YOUR life was worth living while loving yourself. And I'm sure glad you did... I knew then the woman you've become now," Wilmer wrote. "I am proud and honor[ed] to be front row to see the world you are about to change. I love you Demi."

If Wilmer pops the question, it will not be the first marriage proposal for Demi who got "engaged" to a five-year old boy during a concert in October.
