"Batman v Superman" actor Ben Affleck has been once again snapped wearing his wedding band as he presented an award at the ESPYs. He was first pictured wearing the band over the weekend at Comic-Con. Both Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have been reported at the DailyMail to be wearing their wedding bands even though they already announced in June that they would be filing for divorce.
The report continued that, the "Argo" filmmaker is doing the 'now you see it, now you don't' ring thing for the sake of their three children: Violet, nine, Seraphina, six, and Samuel, three.
UsWeekly reports that the former celebrity power couple is 'cordial' wit each other, but is communicating only through text. The source continued that, "They both put on their happy faces and don't show any signs of anger or frustration. They definitely play happy family in front of the kids."
Another source quoted by People said that "The kids are a big part of why they're still wearing them."
While the "Alias" star is filming a movie in Atlanta, Georgia, and has the children with her, the Oscar winning Affleck is living alone at the family mansion in the Pacific Palisades. "Her main focus right now is that Ben will be there for the kids and he has been this week," added the source. "She's happy that the kids are happy."
The Hollywood couple, who had been married for ten years, announced their planning to get a divorce to People magazine in June. "After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce," they stated. "We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time."
The pair added that, "This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding."
