The "Arrow" cast and panel revealed some significant information about Season 4 of the show in the last San Diego Comic-Con. Season 3 ended with Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) driving into the sunset with Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and made fans believe that the vigilante will retire as the Arrow. However, in the recent panel event, the show revealed that Oliver Queen will eventually return with a new alias: the Green Arrow.
According to Christian Today, the executive producer of the show, Marc Guggenheim, posted an image on his Twitter account revealing the title of the premiere episode of Season 4. It was reported that Season 4 episode 1 will be titled "Green Arrow." In addition, the production of the episode will reportedly start in July 23.
Oliver Queen's new costume was also revealed in this year's Comic-Con event. The new costume now sports more armor compared to his original leather costume. It is also reportedly in line with the New 52 design of Green Arrow which can be seen in the current DC comic books.
Amell revealed earlier that he will not be returning to Season 3 as Arrow. This eventually made sense because he will be having a new identity with Green Arrow. According to reports, this will be the first time Oliver Queen will change his alias since the beginning of the show. With his new suit and identity, Oliver Queen is set to face Damien Dahrk in the upcoming season.
Aside from "The Flash" crossover, the cast and showrunners of "Arrow" may have also hinted a possible "Constantine" crossover. "Constantine" may have been cancelled this year, but the "Arrow" crew talked about the possibility that the cast will include John Constantine.
According to iDigital Times, executive producer Wendy Mericle revealed in the panel interview that they would really want to do it. She added that the crossover is something that they have been talking about with DC and they are currently trying to work it out. However, there is still no guarantee that it is going to happen, said the producer.
"Arrow" will be back for Season 4 on The CW on October 7.
