The Late Gianni Versace's Former Mansion Now For Rent

The Glory of the Ultra-famous, breathtaking Italian Versace Mansion now known as Casa Casuarina located in Miami, Florida will soon be having a new rent owner or would become an opulent hotel, a luxury dining space, art gallery according to Elle Décor.

The famous mansion which is at 1116 Ocean Drive in Miami Beach was confirmed to be marketed by Cushman and Wakefield according to The Real Deal. It was bought by Jordache's Nakash at $41.5 million in 2013. The mansion is a three-story property that has 10 luxury suites, a swimming pool that is lined with 24-karat gold, a lounge area, and has furnishing that depicts Baroque style.

Currently, the mansion has already been operating as a luxurious boutique hotel Villa and now known as The Villa, Casa Casuarina. According to the CNTraveler, the hotel offers unique al fresco dining in the Mediterranean inspired restaurant. Before, guests may have a chance to book one of the 10 suites, one of which is the former room of Versace - a 1174 square foot Villa with nine-foot double-king sized beds, two balconies, and a gigantic mosaic shower.

The mansion was designed by Architect Alden Freeman in Mediterranean Revival. It was bought by Gianni Versace in 1992 and where he was also killed on July 15, 1997 at the age of 50 by serial killer Andrew Cunanan. In 1999, the mansion was converted to a hotel restaurant for events and occasions.

Gianni Versace's full name is Giovanni Marie Versace. He is known as an Italian Fashion Designer and also the founder of the well-known Italian fashion house Versace. His siblings Donatella and Santo are running Versace Group. His sister Donatella Versace, also a famous fashion designer, is the Vice President and the Chief Designer while his brother Santo is the president and co-chief executive officer.
