Brad Pitt Tattoos: 'Flight Club' Actor Flaunts New Tattoos for Wife Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt has been seen with new ink while he was with his family inToys "R" Us in Glendale, California. Pitt's new tattoos have letters "A," M," "P," "Z," "S," "V" and "K" on it, suggesting the names of people dear to the actor.

Pitt's tattoos on his right forearm is a simple cross with symbolic letters on it. Some sources say that the letters suggest the names of his wife, Angelina, and his children Maddox, Pax and Zahara. The other letters suggest the names of his other children, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne, according to People.

However, reports say that the never-before-seen tattoo is actually not new at all, though it seems to be a new addition to his body art. Pitt, 51, has a natural appreciation for tattoos. In fact, the actor has several permanent ink on his body. Angeline Jolie, Pitt's wife, had also personally placed body art on him while they were in Davos, Switzerland, TooFab.com reports.

"He just liked it! The picture everybody saw was kind of awkward, but it just lines up beautifully on his back, just enhances the part of the body I like," Jolie said during a 2008 interview.

Moreover, a 13th-century Persian poem by Jalal ad-Din Rumi is inked on Pitt's right arm, which reads, "There exists a field, beyond all notions of right and wrong. I will meet you there." Other Brad Pitt tattoos include Otzi the Iceman drawings on his arm and Jolie's birthdate permanently scribbled on his torso, the US Weekly reports.

As Pitt's wife, Jolie also has her share of meaningful family writings on her body. The 40-year-old filmmaker has geographical coordinates (latitudes and longitudes) tattoos indicating the birthplace of her children. It is placed to cover her old tattoos, a dragon and the name of her former husband, Billy Bob.
