While fans are still waiting for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7, Candice Accola teased some news about Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline's budding romance.
Accola, who plays the role of Caroline Forbes, revealed in her recent interview that the premiere episode of the show will expose how the town ended in a miserable state. In the Season 6 finale of the show, fans had a glimpse of what Mystic Falls looked like in its dismal state. Accola added that the fans will know how the town died and it will now create more questions and intrigues about its residents.
According to Inquisitr, the actress also spoke more about Caroline and Stefan's relationship in Season 7. After the loss of her mother, Caroline is reportedly still coping and she will continue to struggle in the new season.
Although Stefan told her that he is willing to wait for her to be ready to be in a relationship, Caroline will try to keep her romantic distance from him and keep their relationship as friends. However, Accola revealed that this will not be easy on Caroline. Accola said in the interview that she really likes the characters to be together and based on the scripts, she is excited for the fans to see what will happen between the two.
In Zap2it's report, the show's producer, Julie Plec, teased more about the couple's future. The chemistry between the characters has been apparent since Season 2 and now that Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) is gone, there will be more room for other characters in the story, and that includes Caroline and Stefan's romance.
The show is currently filming for Season 7 and it is expected that more details will be released in the days to come. "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 will premiere on October 8.
