'19 Kids and Counting' News: Josh Duggar and Wife Anna Welcome Baby Girl

Stars of reality television show "19 Kids and Counting" continue to add on family members as Josh Duggar and wife Anna welcomed their baby girl. In a report, ET Online said Josh announced via Twitter on Sunday afternoon the arrival of the new member of his family: Meredith Grace.

"Anna and Meredith are resting & doing well!" Josh wrote of his wife and newborn. The baby weighs 7 lbs. 14 oz., and measures 20.5 inches long at birth.

The baby girl is the couple's fourth child. Their other children are Mackynzie, 5, Michael, 4, and Marcus, 2.

The news about the new bundle of joy comes three days after TLC announced they were canceling "19 Kids and Counting" following the molestation scandal that centered on Josh in May. Jessa and sister Jill (Duggar) Dillard -- who is currently in Central America with her husband Derick Dillard and their son Israel on a Christian mission -- were two of the girls Josh was accused of molesting as a teenager, the report said. Anna, on the other hand, continue to support her husband amid the controversy.

In an interview with Fox News journalist Megyn Kelly, Josh's parents Michelle and Jim Bob admitted that their son confessed to them what he had done that gave them "so much grief in our hearts," People reports.

"We've tried to raise our kids to do what's right - to know what's right - and yet one of our children made some really bad choices and I think, as a parent, just ... we were devastated," said Michelle during the interview.

The family, however, refused to give details of the molestation, though Jessa defended her brother against people who are calling him a child molester, pedophile or rapist. "I'm like, that is so overboard and a lie really, I mean people get mad at me for saying that but I can say this because I was one of the victims," she said.

"Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret," Josh, now 27, told People in a statement. "I hurt others, including my family and close friends. I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling."

Regarding the incident, Michelle and Jim Bob said, "even though we would never choose to go through something so terrible, each one of our family members drew closer to God."
