Rita Ora and boyfriend Ricky Hilfiger have split up. Their one-year romance was put to an end after the two were reported to be separated for a while due to their busy schedules. Ora announced her split with Hilfiger on Saturday, July 18.
Hours after the split announcement, Ora was seen performing at Liverpool's Echo Arena on Saturday night at RadioCity's gig. Some sources revealed that she has been leaning on her close friends for support.
According to some insiders, Ora and Hilfiger have decided to split due to their present commitments. Although they tried to work things out, they decided to call it quits since Ora, 24, will be based in the UK for five months. Her boyfriend, Hilfiger, 25, stays in L.A. due to his work engagements, so it would be impossible for them to reportedly catch up with one another.
"They've been on and off for a while. He's based in LA and she's based in London. Now that she's doing the 'X Factor' and has her new album here, she will be here for the rest of the year. But he has commitments to his music career and fashion line overseas, too," a source revealed to Daily Mail.
Another source revealed to OK! that although the two have been having trouble for the last couple of months, the "Poison" singer is very "upset" with her breakup with Hil.
The 24-year-old "X Factor" newest judge is expected to get busier with her new work in the show and her impending album after her breakup with Hilfiger. Apparently, the 24-year-old singer will be focusing on these things while mending her broken heart.
According to reports, Ora and Hilfiger haven't confirmed their relationship formally. However, they started showing their affection toward each other beginning August 2014. It was then followed with their Instagram photos as they became inseparable since last year.
