‘Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain’ Update: New Strategy Guide For Xbox One, Xbox 360 & PS4 Will Be Released This September

Piggyback Interactive Limited, the game developer of "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain," will reportedly release an exclusive strategy guide for the video game in Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PS4 gaming platforms. The reported strategy guide will be released specifically on September 1 and on September 15 for PC platform, Master Herald reported.

As Master Herald noted, the "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" will have two strategy guide versions: paperback and a collectible hardcover edition.The report emphasized that the strategy guide will be released in Europe, North America, South America (printed in English), Italian, German, Spanish and French languages.

The video game's strategy guide for its hardcover edition will only be limited. The limited edition will reportedly include additional contents such as an art gallery and a lithograph by Yoji Shinkawa. "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" strategy guide is available for retail at $24.99, while the hardcover collectible version can be purchased for $34.99 only.

MCV reported that the information in the guide is comprehensive, which can help players achieve 100 percent completion of the game. The strategy guidebook has different elements such as a map-based walkthrough, which is supplemented by different annotated screenshots, guides to various missions, side quests, secrets and collectibles. Gamers will also be given advice or tips on how they will be able to acquire a trophy or achievement in the video game.

Meanwhile, the video game's package or box won't mention or display on the cover the text labels of Kojima Productions or Director Hideo Kojima, as the official logo of Kojima Productions has been removed reportedly due to a power struggle between Konami and Kojima Productions. Consequently, the power struggle has resulted in the untimely cancellation of the "Silent Hills" game, according to Master Herald.
