Demi Moore's house is now plagued with mysteries after a man's body had been found floating on her swimming pool on Sunday morning. Moore and her children were reportedly not in their Beverly Hills house when the incident occurred.
Los Angeles County police has identified the person in the actress' pool as Edenilson Steven Valle, 21. Apparently, the man accidentally slipped and fell in the pool at Demi Moore's house, FOX News reports. Valle was estimated to have drowned for 10 to 15 minutes when he was pulled from the actress' pool.
Moore, 52, expressed her shock on the apparent accident. She released a statement through her publicist, Heidi Lopata.
"I was out of the country traveling to meet my daughters for a birthday celebration when I got the devastating news," Moore said in the statement. The actress referred to Valle's death as an "unthinkable tragedy, and my heart goes out to this young man's family and friends."
Apparently, Moore's caretaker held a party at the actress' house on Saturday night, July 18. Sources revealed that Valle was one of the caretaker's guests who responded to the caretaker's invitation on Saturday. The party attendees reportedly left the actress' home and when they returned, they saw Valle's body at the bottom of the pool.
Relatives of the victim told investigators that Valle didn't know how to swim, which probably led to his death. Investigators revealed that there's no foul play involved in the incident. Sgt. A. Bone of Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that the actress and her daughters were not at home when the fatal tragedy happened.
Moore's house is situated at the Northern part of Beverly Hills and Eastern side of Benedict Canyon.
Meanwhile, a different angle of the story surfaced after some neighbors of the "Ghost" actress said that her kids were hosting parties day and night at the said house. The neighbor claimed the actress' daughters were staying at her house for weeks and were throwing pool parties while the actress was out of town, TMZ reports.
