"Teen Wolf" Season 5 Episode 5 titled "A Novel Approach" will see Scott (Tyler Posey), Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and the rest of the pack head to the Eichen House in an attempt to learn more about the Dread Doctors and get a glimpse into their future from Dr. Valack (Steven Brand), IB Times noted.
While not much has been revealed in the synopsis for the upcoming episode of the MTV series, the new teaser trailer seemingly hints on a possible Theo (Cody Christian) and Malia (Shelley Hennig) romance in the future.
Carter Matt cited that in the recently released clip of "Teen Wolf" Episode 5, Malia is driving with Theo. Malia is obviously driving cautiously after experiencing quite a lot of near-accidents in the previous episodes. Theo, however, advises her to stop following the speed limit and even positions her hands comfortably on the steering wheel.
While this scene seemingly hints on a possible romance brewing between Malia and Theo in the future, the scene automatically jumps into a more intense situation, as Malia experiences a panic attack.
Malia begins to see visions of a child at the back of a car, which seems to be her memories of the day when she got into an accident with her adoptive mother. Malia begins to speed up, alarming Theo and asking her to stop.
"Teen Wolf" Season 5 Episode 5 airs on Monday on MTV.
