Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's divorce update continues after their unexpected announcement on June 30. People are now all eyes on the ex-couple, most especially on their wedding rings, which they apparently continue to wear for their children.
On July 11, the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" star appeared at the Comic-Con in San Diego, his first public appearance after he and his wife ended their decade-long relationship. He reportedly looked pale and sad. The 42-year-old actor is said to be "very overwhelmed and upset" since their breakup.
Meanwhile, Garner was seen on Sunday in Atlanta, Georgia where she is presently filming "Miracles in Heaven" with her three kids. The 43-year-old actress reportedly looked slim as she took her kids out to a party. The actress was wearing her wedding band on her finger, Daily Mail reports.
The children "are a big part of why they're still wearing [the rings]," an insider revealed to People. "They just want them to be okay."
While their children are spending summer in Atlanta, the actor-director was also spotted visiting his family. He is reportedly spending time with his kids as much as he wants.
According to a source, Affleck preferred to stay home this time to take care of the kids while Garner was busy filming in Atlanta. "He's always been a great dad, and that hasn't changed," a source added, according to Boston Herald.
