"Real Housewives of New Jersey (RHNJ)" cast member Teresa Guidice will be participating in the reality TV special series while she is still serving her 15-month jail sentence. The "RHNJ" star will be featured in the two-part episode series through telephone.
"RHNJ" will also feature how her husband Joe is coping with his responsibilities as a single dad while Teresa serves her jail sentence, Hollywood Life reports. Since Bravo network couldn't go inside the prison with a camera, the network was able to include Teresa in the show's episode through the use of pay telephone.
Teresa will talk about how she is dealing with her new environment and how she is being treated inside the prison. Bravo has not yet announced a release date for the said episode.
According to TMZ, the network has no trouble in paying the reality TV star while she is serving her term in jail because she is not included in the exemption applied only to violent offenders. Meanwhile, the "Mr. Mom," Joe, is reportedly keeping everything organized while his wife is in jail. Once in a while, their kids supposedly feel upset and ask when their mom will come back.
"They have their little breakdowns here and there," Joe Guidice told to Daily Mail. "They'll say, 'Daddy, when's she going to be out?' Or 'I miss Mommy.' I just make sure to give them lots of love and a lot of kisses."
This is not the first time that "RHNJ" will feature Teresa while she's in jail. Her family shared a photo with her when they visited her on Mother's Day on May 10.
Teresa and her husband Joe pleaded guilty in March for submitting fake loan applications to collect more or less $5 million in mortgages and construction loans and for hiding assets from bankruptcy creditors. Joe is also guilty for unpaid taxes amounting to over $200,000.
Teresa began serving her 15-month jail sentence in January while her husband is scheduled to serve his 41-month stint after her. The two have four children: Gia, 14, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 5.
