HBO 'Westworld' Premiere & Cast Update: 'Narnia's' Prince Caspian Takes Over 'Once Upon A Time' Actor's Role

HBO's "Westworld" is changing one of its major cast members. Eion Bailey of "Once Upon A Time" revealed that he would be leaving the sci-fi thriller, just a week after he announced that he would be joining the show's cast.

According to Entertainment Weekly, there was a scheduling conflict, so the show had to cast another actor for the role of Logan. Just recently, the show announced that the new Logan will be played by "The Chronicles of Narnia" and thee "Seventh Son" actor Ben Barnes.

The said character is described as a disreputable young man who is a veteran and a Westworld guest. Barnes will star alongside Thandie Newton, Anthony Hopkins, Jeffrey Wright, James Marsden, Evan Rachel Wood and Ed Harris.

Meanwhile, Bailey is not the only one to leave the show so soon. Earlier, Miranda Otto had to leave the show after shooting for the pilot episode since her character in "Homeland" was reconceived and was cast for the show's fifth season.

"Westworld" is based on Michael Crichton's 1973 classic story. Up until now, the fans are still waiting for updates on the show, which is planned to be released in 2016.

However, Science Fiction obtained some of the images from the production of the show. The images are said to be thrilling and intriguing at the same time. It was reported that fans will know more about the upcoming show when the official teaser is released, which hopefully is anytime soon.

According to the report, the images may not feature a lot of action going on; however, visually it looks impressive. Fans are reportedly waiting to see how much of the original film will be featured in the series.

Based on the show's cast, fans also see potential in the new series since it reportedly has talented executive producers Jonathan Nolan, Life Joy, and J.J. Abrams. As of writing, no official date has been revealed yet for the premiere of the show.
