After four years of being happily married to each other, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert decided to call their marriage quits. Lambert pronounced that there are no secrets between the two but reports indicated that Shelton has had a history of being linked to cheating allegations during their marriage.
According to Hollywood Life, the famous country singer couple announced their divorce last July 20, 2015. Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, after four years of marriage, finally decided that it was time to lead their lives separately.
There are no confirmed reasons as to why the two decided to end their marriage. However, there was a joint public statement released addressing the split which stated: "This is not the future we envisioned and it is with a heavy heart that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real family, friends, and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly as for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter."
Clearly, the couple did not wish to reveal to the public about the real reason why their lovey-dovey relationship came to an end. However, according to Hollywood Life, although the two seemed absolutely madly, deeply, in love with each other, their grueling schedules were too much for their relationship to take.
According to such source, although they were living the married life, the couple grew apart recently. It was also reported that Shelton was absolutely heartbroken since he considered Lambert to be the love of his life.
Additionally, Lambert was on stage last July 18 and was unable to hold her emotions in and cried on stage. When she was due to sing "The House That Built Me", she quietly cried when the song was being sung. This drew the fans to the conclusion that divorce papers were going to surface rather sooner than expected.
