Netflix has already confirmed the return of "Orange is the New Black" for another season, but it is still unclear whether or not Matt McGorry will still reprise his role as John Bennett. According to Master Herald, the writers of "Orange is the New Black" are currently working on the script for the upcoming fourth season of the series. However, it seems that they are divided in terms of their decision to either tap McGorry again or not.
In Season 3, John reportedly went missing, but it was recently revealed that he was actually the one responsible for staging his disappearance. This has led fans to believe that McGorry's character will return since he is not yet dead.
Meanwhile, another interesting plot line for the upcoming fourth season of "Orange is the New Black" has something to do with Alex (Laura Prepon). In Season 3, fans thought that Alex was already killed, but obviously she's still alive because she's one of the most famous characters in the series.
Just recently, Prepon posted a photo via Instagram confirming her return to the series. In the snap, Prepon was photographed wearing her inmate costume while holding her inmate identification card.
In other news, one breakout star from the third season of "OITNB" is Australian actress Ruby Rose. According to Variety, Rose's character Stella became one of the most sought-after characters last season because she came in between Alex and Piper's (Taylor Schilling) relationship. Rose previously credited her performance in the film "Break Free" for landing her a role on the Netflix series.
In an interview with the same publication, she said, "The film went viral and getting millions of hits. And I got an email from Jenji's office about auditioning for Stella. I just can't imagine how I would have gone under the radar in America for two years and then I release the short and I get this audition for a character that I think has quite a few similarities to the character I'm portraying in the short."
"Orange is the New Black" Season 4 will premiere on Netflix in 2016.
