Browsers adjust to the coming of the new Windows update.
Mozilla will release the latest version of Firefox by August or September. This update aims to keep their users from transferring from Firefox to the new Microsoft Edge that the Windows 10 comes with.
They have announced the release of the Windows 10 version of Firefox and they are already showing off what the updated browser looks like.
Mozilla envisions a few thing as they are about to launch the new Firefox. They say that they aim to launch the new browser just shortly after the new Windows update is released. They have also confirmed that they aim to support Windows 10 with Firefox 40 or Firefox 41. Firefox 40 will be ready on Aug and Firefox 41 will be ready on September. The Firefox 40 will have major changes and updates, including new designs. It will also be ready for Windows 10.
Mozilla recently published the design specs for the new Firefox and it looks quite similar to the current version of the platform. But like the Microsoft Edge Browser, the new Firefox will also have light and dark schemes. This feature will help match the browser with the Windows 10 options.
Mozilla shares that their main goal is to keep their engagement with their users. They want to retain their current users as the consumers are introduced to the new Microsoft browser. As they work to keep current users, they also target to acquire users of other browsers, specifically users of Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge.
Mozilla also admits that they do not exactly know what the Windows 10 update will look like and what its course will be like. But they are certain that their goal is to make sure that Firefox will work on Windows 10 once the Windows update starts to go out.
