After 4 years of marriage, country crooners Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert finally broke out the news of them divorcing, not long after splitsville rumors circulated hours preceded it.
Recent messages of infidelity surfaced for Blake from the couple's Twitter followers, however on a report Tuesday, it was Lambert who was found out as the one to watch out for. Another country singer, Chris Young, was reportedly suspected by Shelton as the one Lambert was seeing from time to time especially out in public. The report added though that there was another unnamed man involved, and Young was not solely to blame for the breakup.
Still another report from Page Six of the NY Post states an entirely different reason for the divorce, and it was about starting a family of their own for Shelton whilst Lambert prefers not to. Shelton wanted to have kids with Lambert already and she enjoys being on her own, singing and touring. Lambert's tightly knit work schedule was not helpful enough to continue the spark in their relationship, as they were mostly unable to fit their busy schedules together.
After meeting during an onstage duet at the 2005's Greatest Duets Concert while Shelton was still with his first wife Kaynette Gern, the pair had dated for six years prior to tying the knot in 2011. They had signed a prenuptial agreement and has not specified the reason for separating. Shelton had submitted his divorce documents around 2 weeks ago, according to TMZ.
On a joint statement during the announcement, the two were quoted as saying: "This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter."
