Christopher Columbus To Direct Another 'Harry Potter' Movie?

Another Harry Potter movie that centers around the three key characters, Harry, Ron, and Hermione, what would you say to that?

While Director Christopher Columbus was on a talk show of Entertainment Weekly Radio for his new film "Pixels," he also talked about wanting to film a series of Harry Potter films; Columbus was the director of the first two books of Harry Potter which were, "Philosopher's Stone" and "Chamber of Secrets."

He told Entertainment Weekly, "I would love to go back and do another one." "Not "Fantastic Beasts" as much, which I think is going to be amazing, but I would love to do another movie with those three characters - Harry, Hermione, and Ron. I'm just fascinated about what happened to them after the end of the last movie, because then they cut to 18 years ahead. There's 18 years there of great Harry Potter stories."

When he was asked if he inquired this plan to Author JK Rowling, he said that "I don't have the courage to actually mention that to her because I have such respect for her." "She should do what she wants to do, but I really would love to know what's in her head about those missing years."

Harry Potter fans may look forward for those plans as it would be an interesting to see the three characters' life but the director hasn't said any solid plans for that. But for now they can set their dates to see "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" which is about a textbook required for Hogwarts freshmen and its writer's adventures, Newt Scamander. According to IMDb, the movie will be shown in Nov. 18, 2016.

Columbus has just currently finished filming the sci-fi action movie "Pixels" which will be released on July 24, 2015. He was notable in many breaking film genres but the most popular ones are "Home Alone," "Mrs. Doubtfire," "Bicentennial Man," "Fantastic Four," "Night at the Museum" and "Help." He is currently one of the producers of the movie, "Christ the Lord" which will be shown March 11, 2016.
