The once supporting character of Cisco that has started to feel biological changes at the end of Season 1 of "The Flash" will flourish to become a more powerful superhero in Season 2. In a report by Screen Rant, actor Carlos Valdes, who plays Cisco in the series, revealed that the tech-wiz character will begin to see further changes in the upcoming season.
"I think as people saw near the end of Season 1, there are biological changes that are happening to Cisco, specifically with like the dreams and the memories. So, fans can definitely expect more of those biological changes to sort of take effect, especially at the beginning of Season 2," he said.
In Season 1, there's not much focus on the character of Cisco who is known for informing Barry Allen on crimes in-progress, supervillain weaknesses, and also pushing Flash's speed to the limit. Before the previous season ended, however, it revealed that Cisco is not an ordinary human but a metahuman that is capable of retaining memories from alternate timelines.
For comic readers, this was actually not a revelation because in the comic series, Cisco's alter ego is the DC hero Vibe. According to Comic Book, Valdes also revealed that in Season 2, his relationship with the team Flash will be put to the test.
Valdes also added that Cisco will also be romantically linked to one or two ladies in Season 2. It is not known yet, however, if Lisa Snart, played by Peyton List, will come back in the upcoming season.
"I think it's really fun working with [actress] Peyton List. She brings a lot to the Lisa Snart character, so I really hope they bring her back. But I think it's really cool. Lisa and Cisco have a relationship there, and they initiated something. I think it would be really interesting to see how that plays out. Cisco is definitely feeling her, but whether or not she's feeling him remains to be seen," Valdes said.
Asked on whether Cisco will be seen in his superhero costume, Valdes said that he definitely wants that to happen but said that it is going to be a bit complicated. "The Flash" Season 2 will premiere on October 6.
