50 Cent Reveals His Lifestyle Isn't What It Seems

The famous rapper 50 Cent, AKA Curtis Jackson, appeared in Court last Tuesday to testify in a lawsuit against him for spreading a sex tape which he did not receive consent from the woman involved to do the act. Furthermore, he also verifies his current financial state and explained his ostentatious behavior.

According to Business Insider, the famous rapper 50 Cent, AKA Curtis Jackson, recently filed for bankruptcy last week. He likewise appeared at the Manhattan Supreme Court last Tuesday to participate in a lawsuit against him filed by Lastonia Leviston, a woman he was in a sex tape with. Allegedly, he posted the video online without her consent and was due to compensate the woman with $5 million for the said crime.

He stated that he was terribly sorry for having caused the woman the hurt and humiliation that she had to endure after he made the video appear online. Either way, the rapper was ordered to compensate her still, with millions of dollars.

Despite the allegations and 50 Cent's proclamation of bankruptcy last week, he still appeared at the red carpet for the premiere of his current movie "Southpaw". According to Daily Mail, he appeared wearing a Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2015 collection suit, diamond-encrusted watch, and came in with a Rolls Royce. Despite this ostentatious display, Jackson relayed in court that he was only worried about his reputation from announcing his bankruptcy earlier. He also stated that he did bring back the jewels, clothes and the car to the stores and is incapable of buying such since he is currently broke.

Although Forbes estimated the rapper's net worth to be about $155 million last May, the rapper corrected the allegation saying that he is only worth $4.4 million, which will be used as compensation for the sex tape law suit that led him to file for bankruptcy.
