'X-Men: Apocalypse': Jennifer Lawrence Says She Might Not Reprise Her Role in Sequels

"X-Men: Apocalypse" star Jennifer Lawrence recently talked about her character Mystique and said that she's still contemplating whether or not she will reprise the role in the future. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actress said that she's most concerned about the toxins her body could get from the blue body paint she has to wear throughout the filming of Mystique's parts for "X-Men: Apocalypse."

"I love working with Bryan and I love these movies. It's just the paint... fumes and toxins. Now I'm almost 25 and I'm like, 'I can't even pronounce this and that's going in my nose? I'm breathing that?'" she said.

Meanwhile, Lawrence previously sat down for an interview with Yahoo Movies where she revealed her interest in returning to more "X-Men" films. At that time, the actress didn't mention anything about the blue body paint but said that she will only reprise her role as Mystique if the price is right.

"I want them to ask me and then I'm just going to see how I feel in the moment when they ask. It might not make a lot of sense to a lot of people, but I feel like I'll know when they ask. If I get a pit in my stomach and feel like I'm going to throw up, I'll say no. And if I don't, I'll ask how much they want to pay me," she said.

In other news, Nicholas Hoult, James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender's contracts will also expire after "X-Men: Apocalypse." In a previous interview with E! News, Hoult said that he will be more than willing to reprise his role as Beast in future "X-Men" films if the script is well-written.

"This is the last one I'm signed up for... I have a good time playing him so I'd keep making them," he said.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" is set to hit theaters in the United States this coming May 27, 2016.
