"Outlander" Season 2 will cover Diana Gabaldon's second book titled, "Dragonfly in Amber." The Starz time traveler series will follow the events from Season 1, especially after Jamie's traumatic experience in the hands of Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies) at Wentworth Prison.

During the recently concluded 2015 San Diego Comic-Con, the cast and crew of "Outlander" did not fall short of giving exciting hints and details of the upcoming season.

"It's a very visually - a very different show this year. I mean, obviously Claire and Jamie are sort of center and all that still. But yeah, it's really beautiful," Balfe told Access Hollywood.

The 35-year-old Irish actress also hinted that Claire's pregnancy will "change everything." Balfe recounted that Claire has always thought that it was impossible for her to conceive a child, but when she found out that she was pregnant, it immediately brought back certain memories of her childhood.

"I think it brings up a lot of that stuff for her, but it's something that brings Jamie and Claire really together, and it's a beautiful part of the story."

Meanwhile, in another interview with TV Goodness, Balfe revealed that Claire will be Jamie's "only lifeline" in order to get past through his traumatic experience at Wentworth Prison.

Balfe revealed that Claire will try to distract him with political issues such as the Jacobite Rising in order to keep his mind away from the events at Wentworth Prison.

"Outlander" Season 2 will return in 2016 with 13 episodes.
