8-Bit Mario Amiibo Bundle: Wii U Premium Pack Available in Europe in September

Game developer Nintendo has announced on Wednesday that it will release an 8-bit Mario Amiibo alongside "Super Mario Maker" on September 11. Nintendo said that that two special edition bundles are part of Mario's 30th anniversary collection. The "Super Mario" figurines will be available in two variants, a report from IGN said.

The variant that will be released in September includes a "Classic Colors" edition of Super Mario Amiibo, which features a traditional NES Super Mario Bros. sporting a brown and red plumber's outfit. The other one is the "Modern Colors" edition, which features Mario's regular blue and red oufit, which will be released on October 23.

A similar report from Gamesradar said that the 8-bit Mario Amiibo will be bundled with "Super Mario Maker" for the Wii U Premium Pack. The premium pack will be released with a black Wii U Premium console. The Wii U console comes with a physical copy of the game and a hardcover art book.

Meanwhile, for players who already own a system, a "Super Mario Maker" Limited Edition Pack will be available. The report pointed out that the bundles will arrive first in Europe, specifically in the UK, on September 11. "Super Mario Maker" will reportedly allow players to enjoy a diabolical 2D side-scrolling level, which is an addition to the 100 levels that will be shipped with the video game.
