Presidential candidate Donald Trump files to the Federal Election Commission his income for several business ventures. This act clearly states that he is more than willing to proceed with running for the presidency. However, despite the value of his assets, he has tremendous debts to five creditors at date.
According to Washington Post, the Federal Election Commission, or the FEC, publicly released presidential candidate Donald Trump's statement of assets, liabilities and net worth last Wednesday. The said 92-page complex disclosure of his wealth indicated that Trump has over $10 billion worth of assets. However, the stated amount does not corroborate the figure shown in the documents, especially when it is only required for him to disclose broad ranges of such wealth.
However, despite the doubt as to the definite proportion and value of his indicated wealth, it does give the public an overview of his evolving empire. Furthermore, it also shows that his holdings in several companies including his own go beyond real estate alone, which is what makes up his identity as a mogul in the said industry.
According to Sun Times, he not only deliver in the real estate world but also has five investment portfolios that comprises of stocks in major corporations such as Apple, AT&T, Caterpillar Inc., Bristol Myers Squibb, General Electric, Pepsi Co., Verizon Wireless, WalMart, Yahoo and Waste Management. Furthermore, the filing says that he also earned through the Miss Universe pageant amounting to about $5,000,000 and $25,000,000 and says that he personally netted $3.4 million for the said events.
Even Trump's pension from the Screen Actors Guild amounts to $100,000 because of his role in the movies "The Little Rascals", "Zoolander", and "The Apprentice". Plus, he was also earning more than $14 million last year from the Trump National Golf Club in Northern Virginia but was valued at $50 million.
Despite all of this, Trump declares that he has 15 creditors at present, four of whom he owes more than $50 million each. Because of all of these disclosure, it is said that Donald Trump has no plans in backing out from the presidential race and should be taken as a sign of his being serious in running for the presidency.
