"Allegiant" star Shailene Woodley recently showed off her toned physique on the set of the upcoming film. According to the Daily Mail, Woodley has been filming her scenes on "Allegiant - Part 1" for the past couple of months now. However, it has been quite challenging for the actress because it's summer in the United States.
With this, Woodley was photographed wearing a simple black tank top that showed off her distinctive tattoo, which she got during the first installment of Veronica Roth's movie adaptation of "Divergent." The tattoo feature three ravens that symbolizes Tris' three family members whom she left behind when she joined Dauntless.
After filming some of her scenes that day, Woodley was photographed eating and checking her phone during her break time. In another photo, Woodley was photographed with her co-star Theo James, who will be playing Four in the third installment. Meanwhile, another photo featured Woodley and James alongside their co-stars Miles Teller, Zoe Kravitz and Ansel Elgort walking under fake rain.
"Allegiant - Part 1" will take off from where "Insurgent" left off. Tris will continue to question the real intentions of factionless leader Evelyn Johnson (Naomi Watts). Additionally, the first part of the final installment will also feature Tris and Four venturing into the outside world after they are caught by the Bureau of Genetic Welfare.
In other news, fans are divided with the decision of Roth and Lionsgate to release "Allegiant" in two parts. In a recent interview with BuzzFeed, Roth explained her decision and said that it will be best to cut the story in two parts to give the most important highlights more emphasis. Roth also confirmed that the ending of the movie will be the same with the ending in the book, which means Tris will eventually die.
"Allegiant - Part 1" is slated to hit theaters in the United States next year.
