AirBnB, a site where homeowners offer a part or all of their property for lodging to vacationers, actually have some listings that are former homes of some celebrities. If you wish to experience star quality property but don't have enough money to buy or rent a celebrity pad, you can simply stay a night or two in these AirBnb rentals.
According to AOL, AirBnB offers a Malibu property with three bedrooms that can accommodate eight persons. The said home is where some celebrities such as Denzel Washington, Jimmy Page and Jan Michael Vincent used to live.
Though somehow pricey at $490 to $798 per night (with cleaning fee), the property, which dates back to 1994, offers stunning 180-degree views of the sea and mountains. It's also reportedly possible to spot dolphins migrating whales from the house's patio. Besides the main home, there's also a detached gym and two small houses in the property.
A more affordable option at $109 a night is the Hawaiian Island cottage where guitarist Jimmy Hendrix stayed when he filmed "Rainbow Bridge." Perfect for solo or couple travelers, the modest-sized studio offers one queen-sized bed and a day bed.
Meanwhile, for big groups who wish to rent out an entire villa, the property used in the film "Entourage" can be rented for >£302 per night , Yahoo reports. The property is located in the exclusive Los Feliz neighborhood and a beautiful pool. It also offers lavish amenities such as a huge stone fireplace, chandeliers, five-star hotel-like bathrooms and a home entertainment system including a PlayStation.
