A new brew is currently on its way and is making it big. As per BloombergBussiness, an alcoholic root beer is being brewed and sold all over the place. Named as "Not Your Father's Rootbeer", the drink is now available in over 50 locations on the East Coast. The alcoholic beverage is formulated by a brewery called Small Town which is located within Waconda, Illinois. The Alcoholic Root beer was then purchased by Pabst Brewing and a huge group of investors which then released the drink, making it available for consumption within the east coast area.
FoodBeast then dished out some of the drinks finest ingredients that's making this drink have its familiar root beer taste but with a twist of alcohol. The root beer's main ingredients are as follows: vanilla, anise, wintergreen, a mix of sassafras bark, and 5.9% ABV as added per 12-ounce serving. Though the Alcoholic Root Beer was brewed by Small Town way back 2013, it will sure make its way in hitting convenience stores and supermarkets all over the country over the years, stirring up fuzz while making its name and would eventually be shipped out internationally.
Though the drink isn't new, it's still making its way into the market. Although this may sound like your favorite root beer with a twist of alcohol, a DIY version is made available on some bars across the country bringing root beer and beer lovers a combination of their favorite drinks.
