Faith in Humanity restored when the American professional basketball player LeBron James of Cleveland Cavaliers made an impact in changing lives pushing students to strive better in school and at home. LeBron James, 31, started the LeBron James Family Foundation 4 years ago with a goal in helping young academe in doing their best. In partnership with I Promise Project which is based in Akron-Ohio, different individuals from the community helped out in building a home for a family with a child that's been keeping his word in making good grades and a better person.
As of this Saturday morning, the homes of Anthony Anderson The III and Kaylyn Paolino had a reboot, with the garden being furnished along with a new playground for the kids the family had their well-deserved makeover due to their kids perfect school attendance as per Ohio.com.
Around 30 volunteers geared up to rebuild the homes - from football players, wrestlers school administrators ,alumni and students along with their parents worked together to accomplish this charity event most of which came from St. Vincent- St. Mary High School, both alumni operated landscaping business also helped namely the Edenscape and Fairlawn Supply.
Anthony, the 6th grader that was chosen made the sweetest reply when being asked on why he was up for the price stating "Because I did well in school".
Patty Burdon, St. Mary - St. Vincent High School's public relations then stated that "I've been watching the way Anthony looks out for his little brother and sister. He takes LeBron's message very seriously. These are hands-on parents, and the partnership they have in the home is an extension of what LeBron is trying to achieve with families."
Which later on added that "I call us his 'emotional partner,' " "We can't contribute monetarily, but we can provide the bodies, LeBron would be very proud of the fact that everyone who volunteered today is part of his alma mater."
LeBron James continues to touch lives and motivate children to do better both in school and everyday lives, moving each individual to do good and lifting the hopes of these children that doing good can be rewarded.
