"Arrow" Season 4 is currently in production, and as the show's air date draws near, more and more spoilers are revealed to the fans. Den of Geek listed all the new villains for the upcoming season.
JR Bourne from "Teen Wolf" will play one of the villains, Double Down. According to the website, he is a minor "The Flash" villain, which means his appearance may hint another show crossover. Another new villain is Jessica Danforth, who will be played by Jeri Ryan. According to Access Hollywood, Jessica Danforth's political ambitions will make her a threatening antagonist in the story.
Also joining the new list of villains is Baron Blitzkrieg. The character will be played by British actor Jimmy Akingbola who was already previously cast as a villain in some flashback sequences. He is the leader of a group called Shadowspire that is based on the comics.
In the previous season, it was already confirmed that Damian Darhk will be one of the villains in Season 4. According to reports, the show may be putting a new spin on the character to add an interesting twist to the story.
Based on the official description of the character, "Darhk is a mysterious and sophisticated villain." He also has his own secret group that will add to Arrow's greatest challenges. It was confirmed that the character will be played by Neal McDonough.
Finally, fans haven't seen the last of the League of Assassins as it was also confirmed that John Barrowman will return for Season 4. He first appeared as Malcolm Merlyn/Dark in Seasons 1 and 2, and now it has been revealed that he will be coming back in Season 4.
A new character will also join the show, as Mr. Terrific will be coming to Season 4. Echo Kellum from the show "Ben and Kate" will be playing Curtis Holt who is an employee in Palmer Technologies.
"Arrow" Season 4 will air on The CW on October 7.
