Calvin Cordozar Boradus Jr. also known as Snoop Doog was detained after he was suspected of drug use last Saturday, July 25, 2015 after his Swedish concert for his recently released album "Bush" as reported by Time. "The Next Episode" singer was pulled over by cops within Uppsala in suspicion of illegal drug use. It was stated that "police carrying roadside controls noticed that Snoop Dogg seemed to be under influence of narcotics in which his car was pulled over. He was then taken into the police station for further investigation making him undergo drug a testing, which lasted several minutes but he was then allowed to carry on and leave after the test was conducted" as per The Guardian.
Snoop Dogg then turned to social media to vent out his frustrations calling the incident a "racial profiling" with a couple of tweets and instagram video posts.
He posted a tweet intended for his Swedish fans stating:
"2 all my Sweden fans U can blame YA police dept for never seeing me again in your beautiful country,"
After which he posted a couple of Instagram Videos:
One of his tweets was captioned: "on my mamas im sick and tired of pigs. N America n these countries that jus don't respect us fu*k that new me u u do 2" gained more than 25.5k likes and 1,500 comments all showing their support and love for the famous rapper.
On a black and white grainy video he stated:
"They took me down there, made me pee in a cup, didn't find sh*t," which was captioned "Message to my fans n fam". He did assure everybody that he made it through.
Snoop Dogg have been in the music industry for the longest time and mentoring young rappers that are making their name into the spotlight. His song often features his love for weed and gang wars.
