"Fear The Walking Dead" will premiere a couple of weeks from now, and the show has revealed its official synopsis and some character posters.The images which can be found on International Business Times do not show much about the walkers but clearly depict intense character poses.
In the posters revealed, fans will see some of the major characters of the show including Madison (Kim Dickens), Travis (Cliff Curtis), Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey), Nick (Frank Dillane), Liza (Elizabeth Rodriguez), Daniel (Ruben Blades), Ofelia (Mercedes Mason), Griselda (Patricia Reyes Spindola) and Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie). The promotional posters show the characters not directly looking at the camera and seem to be anticipating threat coming toward them.
According to previous reports, this new group of survivors will be experiencing the beginning of the zombie apocalypse, during the time Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) was still in a coma. In the official synopsis featured in Screen Rant, the story will revolve around the eyes of a fractured family as they try to survive the zombie apocalypse. It was also revealed that there will be a blending of two families who will try to survive the outbreak as their society crumbles down. This said family has to make a choice of changing themselves or embracing their dark past to live through the tragedy.
Series creator Robert Kirkman earlier revealed that the spinoff will focus on single parents, Madison and Travis, who work at the same school and have built a relationship together. They try to combine their homes as the world starts to meet its end. Madison has two children, Alicia and Nick, while Travis tries his best to raise his son Chris after being divorced from his mother, Liza.
In the last San Diego Comic-Con event, the showrunners revealed the first official trailer for the show. "Fear The Walking Dead" is set to premiere on August 23.
