Apple broaden its reach as they announce that Apple Watch and Apple Watch Sports models can be purchased at more than 300 Best Buy locations across the country starting August 7. Best Buy Co. Inc. is the U.S.' largest electronics chain store.
Apple's spokesperson said that "Customers love Apple Watch, and we are thrilled to begin offering it at Best Buy." Also, they said that their partnership with Best Buy begins in time with the start of shopping season for the holidays. Jason Bonfig, Best Buy's senior category officer said that "The Apple Watch is an important addition to an emerging product category, and we know our customers want it."
According to Apple's chief financial officer Luca Maestri, Apple watches' sales had exceeded the company's projected revenue and he said that their watches had beaten their iPhone's and iPads' sales in the same period of time since the watches' launch in April 2015.
Best Buy treats this new venture as an exciting one for Best Buy is the first retail chain store to offer Apple watches to its consumers apart from Apple retail store. Consumers can also enjoy shopping for the watches in the comforts of their home as Best Buy will also include it on their online store, BestBuy.com.
Since every Apple product takes the consumers by a storm, Best Buy is happy with this partnership as customers will soon be flocking on their stores to grab one of Apple watches.
