Just recently, Telegraph UK came up with a list of the most expensive hotel rooms around the world, and President Wilson Hotel Geneva's Royal Penthouse Suite came out on top. Take a peek inside the lavish hotel and discover the luxurious amenities it offers.
Ideally located in Switzerland, just a few steps from the beautiful Lake Geneva and set against the stunning backdrop of the Mont Blanc is the luxury President Wilson Hotel. Home to 180 guest rooms and 48 suites, the hotel offers guests Alpine views and high-end amenities.
According to the hotel's official website, the Royal Penthouse Suite is the largest in Europe and "the most luxurious suite in the world." It was also reportedly hailed as the "World's Leading Hotel Suite" by World Travel Awards.
In the penthouse suite which costs £53,000 a night, guests can soak up beautiful overlooking views of the lake and the Mont-Blanc from the private terrace. Inside, guests can indulge in world-class entertainment: there's a Bang & Olufsen flat screen, dubbed as one of the three biggest in the world; a Steinway grand piano; a billiards table; as well as a collection of ancient books. There's also a long dining table perfect for a big group.
The suite also houses a private gym and jacuzzi and features bulletproof floor-to-ceiling windows for maximum security and panoramic views. Twelve bedrooms can be enjoyed in the luxurious penthouse accommodation along with marble en-suite bathrooms.
Daily Mail previously reported that various VIPs and celebrities have stayed in the expensive suite. Some of these include the late Michael Jackson, Rihanna, Bill Gates and Richard Branson. Pictures are available here.
