Marvel fanatics have been eagerly awaiting for more news about the upcoming movie, "Gambit." Fans will surely be excited with the leaked casting call list reportedly for the film, which describes the movie's characters including "Mr. Sinister."
According to Cinema Blend, the site Showbiz 411 claimed to have gotten information about the casting calls for "Gambit." The list has 14 names in total and includes descriptions for each role. Some of the names appear to be for smaller roles in the movie, although there are four that stood out to Cinema Blend. One may potentially be a codename for the film's villain, "Mr. Sinister."
The site is pertaining to the character description for "Louis" which is described as "Male, any ethnicity, 40s-50s. Elegant and intelligent. An appealing entrepreneur with an unexpected dark side." Cinema Blend speculates that "Louis" may be a codename for "Nathaniel Essex" or "Mr. Sinister." The description reportedly is a perfect match for the "cloning obsessed scientist/human mutate" who has an "interesting history with the Raging Cajun - having originally hired the young thief to steal special diaries from the Weapon X program."
Other casting call characters that Cinema Blend took notice of are Vera, Nash and Fritz. The three may reportedly be for Gambit's childhood friend Bella Donna Boudreaux, Bella Donna's brother Julien Boudreaux and Gambit's adoptive father Jean-Luc LeBeau, respectively.
The site also stated that these are purely speculation and claimed that the matches made sense given the context of Gambit's history in comics. To check out the full casting call list, head on over to Showbiz 411.
