Even before people can get over Bill Cosby's controversies regarding sexual assaults, 35 women got together to expose their experiences with the pioneer celebrity. It seems like they wouldn't allow Cosby to get away with it this time, even though decades have passed for most of his victims.
New York Magazine has recently published a cover story that bares the confessions of thirty five women who finally testified against Bill Cosby. The published story features only a portion out of the 46 women who publicly accused Cosby. New York Magazine said that they spent six months in interviewing each woman, and they have found similarities in each incident. From the sequencing to the aftermath, each occasion seems to be similar to each other.
Louisa Moritz, now 69 years old, shares the assault she has experienced in Cosby's hands. Moritz says that Cosby walked in her dressing room before they were scheduled to appear in a Tonight Show. Cosby locked the door and everything happened in just about five minutes, but Moritz says that it was the longest five minutes she has even experienced. When her name was called in the show, Cosby ran out and went on stage. He introduced himself as Moritz and everyone laughed at him. Moritz then was called on stage where she felt like a zombie. Moritz says that she was afraid to tell anybody and she just felt embarrassed for herself.
Joyce Emmons, Cosby's alleged victim way back from 1970's also shares her experience. She said that she asked Cosby for a Tylenol for her severe headache. Cosby then offered a different pill which Emmons trusted to cure her pain. However, she ended up waking up without clothes with Bill's naked friend beside her.
The New York Daily News courageously weighed in to the matter, calling Bill Cosby as "America's Rapist". His lawyers denied the accusations and he was never charged. However, Cosby's associates have been reported to drop him off. Nickelodeon pulled out the reruns of his show. NBC and Netflix stopped their transactions with him. The agency that has long represented him has also dropped him. His defenders including Jill Scott and Whoopi Goldberg also stopped defending him.
