NBC will be airing a new show, "Blindspot," where people can meet the female version of Jason Bourne. Entertainment Weekly recently featured the latest trailer for NBC's new series.

In the trailer, viewers can see a beautiful woman who is covered in tattoos inside a duffel bag that was dropped in the middle of Times Square. The woman, called Jane Doe and is played by Jaimie Alexander, has no idea who she is and where she comes from. She will find help in the person of FBI Agent Kurt Weller, played by Sullivan Stapleton, who has his name mysteriously tattooed in Jane Doe's back.

Other cast of the show includes Marianne Jean-Baptiste as FBI Assistant Director Bethany Mayfair, Rob Brown as Ramirez, Audrey Esparza as Tasha Olso, Ashley Johnson as Patterson Leung, and Ukweli Roach as Dr. Borden. According to Coming Soon, the pilot episode of the series was written by Martin Gero and is directed by Mark Pellington.

Alexander has appeared in a couple of movies such as the "Thor" franchise and will be reprising her role as Lady Sif in the upcoming movie, "Thor: Ragnarok." According to Access Hollywood, in the upcoming show, it will be discovered that Alexander's character has a set of skills which can only be seen in trained military agents.

Each week, the truth behind her identity will slowly be revealed. In her recent interview, Alexander revealed that by episode 2, viewers will learn something major about her tattoos. She added that the show focuses both on suspense and reward. It keeps a lot of mystery despite presenting some information and clues about her identity. She also says that it is a must-watch since it is unique and compelling and its structure defies the typical weekly dramas.

The pilot episode of "Blindspot" will air on Monday, September 21, on NBC.
