The ABC crime drama anthology series "Secrets & Lies" is adding a new character for Season 2. According to Deadline, "Lost" alum Terry O'Quinn is joining the cast alongside Michael Ealy and Juliette Lewis.
In Season 2, detective Andrea Cornell, played by Lewis, will be investigating a new crime, which is the murder of Eric Warner's wife. Eric Warner is going to be played by Ealy.
O'Quinn will reportedly play Eric's father, John Warner. His character is described as a lovable and charming finance magnate and he is also a doting father to his children. He also has a successful Charlotte private equity firm. Now that he is ready to retire, he plans to pass his business to his eldest son, Eric. However, the company and the family are shocked by a tragedy when Eric's wife is murdered on the same day they are celebrating Eric's promotion.
Other cast members also include Mekia Cox as Amanda Warner, who is Eric's sister and also a criminal attorney. She helps her brother when he is targeted by Cornell in the investigation of his wife's death.
O'Quinn is not new to the network as he has also starred in several ABC shows like "Lost" and the short-lived thriller "666 Park Avenue." He also appeared on several television series like CBS' "Hawaii Five-0," Fox's "Gang Related," and the second season of DirecTV's "Full Circle."
According to Fashion & Style, the show is currently filming in a new location. Instead of Wilmington, NC, it is now in production in California; however, the story will still remain in Charlotte. The show was developed for American television by Barbie Kligman and it is based on an original Australian series with the same title.
