Conan O'Brien Faces Plagiarism Lawsuit because of Rip-Off Jokes

Just after Twitter's actions of possibly eradicating plagiarism among its users, another case of alleged plagiarism has been circulating. Conan O'Brien has allegedly used Twitter user's, Robert Alexander Kaseberg, jokes for his late- night talk show in TBS and is now currently facing a lawsuit. Robert accused O'Brien of using four of his jokes that he tweeted.

The first instance was on February 3, Robert said that he tweeted a particular joke:

"Tom Brady is going to give his MVP truck to the guy who won the game for the Patriots. So enjoy that truck, Pete Carroll."

Which Conan later said oh his show, and he said:

"Tom Brady said he wants to give the truck he was given as the Super Bowl MVP to the guy who won the Super Bowl for the Patriots. So Brady is giving his truck to Seahawks Coach Pete Carroll."

The second was on February 17 when Robert tweeted: "Washington Monument is 10 inches shorter than previously thought. You know the winter has been rough when a monument suffers from shrinkage."

And later that night, O'Brien joked on his show, "Surveyors announced that the Washington Monument is 10 inches shorter than what's been recorded. Of course, the monument is blaming the shrinkage on the cold weather."

Robert also said that the other jokes that Conan allegedly copied without consent are about Caitlyn Jenner and Delta Flight. He also said that he contributed to "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno", and that he will include TBS and O'Brien's team in the lawsuit.

Conan O'Brien's party denies all accusations and firmly stands that there is no basis for the lawsuit. Conan's sidekick, Andy Richter even joked that, "OH NO WE'VE BEEN FOUND OUT!! There's no possible way more than one person could have concurrently had these same species-elevating insights! THESE TAKES ARE TOO HOT!" which Robert simply answered, "Love Andy."
