The actor's new "Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation" movie have been in the stills long before rumors surfaced of his budding romance with his assistant, English rose Emily Thomas, who is 32 years his junior. The talks came about a week ago when he was spotted being apparently "smitten" and looking comfortable with Ms. Thomas' company, while roundabout making appearances for the promotion of his new action-packed movie.
An article on the dailymail.co.uk reported Emily Thomas decidedly shut down dating rumors between her and the esteemed actor when she posted a cute photo together with her boyfriend, Alex Roberts, on her Facebook profile just recently. The pair have been seen enjoying romantic dinners and getaways together, though they have dated for about 5 months already. She met her partner, who is a carpentry firm owner, when they also worked in the new Mission Impossible movie.
Tom Cruise was impressed with her credentials and work performance that he also concluded expressing a continued interest on having her work with him on his other projects. A report on the inquisitor.com mentioned that not only does Ms. Thomas strikingly resemble his ex-wife Katie Holmes, she has an enviable background as well. She comes from a respectable upper-class family from England. She also attended Aldenham School, where her former headmaster James Fowler affectionately regarded her as an "intelligent, popular pupil" who excelled in the area of academics and athletics. Ms. Thomas also completed a diploma from Quest Secretarial and Business Training School, and ventured into the film industry.
Tom has already been married three times, with the last marriage to Katie Holmes ending in a rough divorce. It's still early, yes, however checking their snaps out in the open for everyone to see is a finality on Emily's blossoming romance with Cruise.
