Theodor Seuss Geisel is an American writer and is best known for his popular children's books. He writes under the pen name Dr. Seuss. His works have sold more than 600 million copies worldwide and were translated in more than 20 languages at the time of his death. Donald Pease, a Leading Dartmouth College Seuss scholar, says that one could never be disappointed with Dr Seuss' "What Pet Should I Get?", calling the book "a classic Dr. Seuss treatment" as per Hollywood Life.
It's been more than two decades since his last book was published, but lo and behold, "The Cat in the Hat" writer's widow was able to find one of his writings in which she kept last 1991 but lost it, and was able to find it again last 2013. His new book "What Pet Should I Get?" revolves around two siblings that are in pet shop thinking about what pet they should be getting as reported by Los Angeles Times.
During his interview, the Dr. Seuss enthusiast stated:
"Harper Lee's sequel has disappointed lots of Harper Lee fans because Atticus Finch, a role model for racial justice, has violated our expectations,"
"But the siblings in What Pet Should I Get? are in tune with, are part of the same creative energy that resulted in the same time-span of two of the testimonies to Dr Seuss' sense that children's books can affirm the desire for social justice."
The new books release caused a stir and gathered thousands of tweets from book lovers all over the world.
