'Full House' Spin Off Starts Filming, Who's Returned For Their Role?

The filming for the Full House spin off by Netflix is already underway. Although Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen have never confirmed being part of the spin off, Ted Sarandos who is the chief content officer of Netflix said the twins' decision may not be as final as it appears to be. Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit on the other hand are both back to reclaim their roles as Nicky and Alex, the twins of Aunt Becky and Uncle Jesse.

Luckily for all Full House fans, the two brothers turned out to be fine gentlemen years after the show has stopped airing.

Blake tweets: For 10k followers! I know I'm late but thanks guys <3 you all @DC_Wilhoit

Blake has now become a firefighter, but we cannot imagine Nicky without Alex, so it's good news that both are coming back on the Full House set.

Dylan also took to social media to excitedly announce his return to the Full House cast by posting an image of the show's script to his Instagram account, saying "What?" as the caption.

John Stamos also posted an image of their script. He also showed off his sideburns, saying "And we're back! Same sideburns - different decade".

As the filming begins, the cast can't help but feel rather emotional. It has been decades since they have last gone together on set to film Full House, we can't blame them if they feel overwhelmed. Candace Cameron Brue, who will retake her role as D.J. Tanner, talked to ET about what she felt when the filming began. She says

"I went in and opened that door and I smelled that smell - it was like the floodgates of memories from being 10 to 18 just washed over me, and I just cried!". "It was sensory overload and nostalgia and memories. It was incredible."

Remakes make the heart get a mix of different emotions. If that is what Netflix is trying to give its viewers, they have succeeded. As far as getting attention is concerned, we can say that Netflix made the right decision to give us a Full House spinoff.
